Warwickshire photographic processor Standard Photographic has been sold to Europe's leading photo service provider CeWe Color Holding, of Oldenburg, Germany. Standard Photographic, a family-owned firm since its formation in the 1930s, is one of the top digital photo processors in the UK, serving big-name customers such as Boots, Asda, Pixology and Jessops. It also runs the UK lab for all Fujifilm mail order processing.

Swains Camera Phone Zone continues to grow from strength to strength with Swains offering their promotional support to 170 retailers who have joined the scheme since it began in October 2004. Extending further its infrastructure for digital imaging and IT support and service, Oxford-based ACL has formed a partnership with Photologic to service photographic imaging equipment throughout the Republic of Ireland. In addition to distributing a range of digital imaging products, Photologic is the official distributor for all Kodak professional digital imaging equipment in Ireland, a position it has held for the past eight years. It is also the national representative for Kodak's health imaging technology.
