Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan, has announced the results for the first half of the current fiscal year, which will end March 31, 2006.
Consolidated revenue increased 4.0 percent to Yen 1,303.5 billion, mainly due to a large increase in sales of panel display materials, digital color multifunctional devices and office printers as well as newly acquired businesses. Domestic revenue amounted to Yen 646.2 billion, up 1.4 percent, while overseas sales totaled Yen 657.3 billion, plus 6.8 percent. Sales of Fujifilm's Imaging Solutions division decreased 10.8 percent to Yen 348.3 billion, mainly due to declining sales of color films and digital minilabs.
