A new Digital SLR Showcase is being introduced at the Digital Imaging Marketing Association(DIMA Annual Conference, Feb. 24-25, 2006, at the Orange County Convention Center, West Building, Orlando, Fla. The DIMA DSLR Showcase will feature famed photographers Monte Zucker and Laurence Gartel, who will be shooting the newest DSLRs and answering photographic questions from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat., Feb. 25.
Prints from their photo shoot will be on display in booth 3877 during the PMA 2006 Convention, Feb. 26-March 1.
Zucker has been a leading portrait teacher for the past 35 years, and is acclaimed throughout the world for his work. His photographic expertise and creativity will give DIMA and PMA 2006 attendees a chance to view the benefits and beauty of professional images captured by the newest DSLRs.
Gartel is a founding "PIONEER" of the Digital Art movement, who actually started his digital imaging techniques 10 years prior to any software being written for painting and photo manipulation. Gartel's reputation and creative eye is sure to draw enthusiastic interest from all DIMA and PMA participants.
Calumet Photographic is sponsoring the DIMA DSLR Showcase by supplying equipment, including many of the DSLRs used during the event. The cameras in the showcase will also be on display for photographers and other users to "touch and feel" throughout the full-day event.
