Colour management specialist Colour Confidence has announced the expansion of the popular GrafiLite range with the launch of the Colour Confidence GrafiLite Mode.

Combining colour accuracy with stylish design, the GrafiLite Mode (£85/25 ex. tax) is a convenient source of natural daylight, ideal for assessing proofs and prints up to A3 size. The GrafiLite Mode is available now from selected resellers and directly from www.colourconfidence.com

Since its launch in January, the original Colour Confidence GrafiLite has proved popular with amateur and professional photographers alike, as well as graphic designers and studios, offering an affordable alternative to professional level controlled lighting solutions. The new GrafiLite Mode offers the same viewing accuracy over a larger area, while its modern, clean-lined design will fit perfectly into any studio, office or home environment.

"Because artificial lighting can distort your colour perception, the best way to assess prints or proofs is in natural daylight - but of course, that isn't available 24 hours a day", comments Simon Prais, Technical Director of Colour Confidence. "The GrafiLite range offers a choice of convenient ways to recreate these conditions whenever and wherever you need them. The high-definition lighting the GrafiLite Mode provides is ideal for a range of applications; photography, graphic design, or even hobbies such as art and craftwork."

To coincide with the launch of the GrafiLite Mode, Colour Confidence is also launching a GrafiLite Twin Pack (£94/50), offering the benefit of a larger viewing area plus the convenience of the GrafiLite's portability. A double-sized mat for the original GrafiLite is also now available - ideal for existing GrafiLite users looking to purchase a second unit. A further range of spare mats and bulbs is also available from www.colourconfidence.com. For more information on the technology behind the GrafiLite range, please see www.grafilite.com.
