TwinLink from Seculine is a radio flash trigger kit which provides a complete solution for photographers to wirelessly trigger both their studio flash systems and their camera flash systems.
The transmitter and receiver have 16 selectable channels so that you can ensure you are using a different frequency to other photographers that may be sharing the same studios. If you do however choose to use multiple receivers then they can be set to the same channel for multiple flash response.
The Seculine T2D incorporates a combination of 2.4Ghz radio frequency and Infra Red signals to give faultless triggering response, each and every time the shutter is fired. The transmitter and receiver being triggered by a Radio Frequency will operate in situations where you do not have line of sight, so that the flash equipment can be hidden behind walls and objects in your image for the best lighting effects.
The TwinLink system has been designed to give the best possible coverage, with a range of up to 150ft indoors and up to 600ft outdoors making it a hugely versatile system, especially when using multiple receivers and flash heads to light large areas.
On both the T2D transmitter and receiver you can adjust the power off time from 5 minutes to 95 minutes to save batteries in the event of the unit not being used for prolonged periods.
The receiver has been cleverly designed to give added versatility with its built in hot shoe mount, so that you can make use of your existing camera flashguns to add creative lighting. The receiver can also be easily and conveniently positioned using the tripod adapter so that it can be mounted on any tripod, or even in more unusual places with the addition of a Gorillapod tripod.
Battery or Mains operation - The receiver has the capability to be powered by the supplied AAA batteries or the included mains power supply depending on your needs. When using the mains power supply in studio situations, the batteries should be removed from the unit, or alternatively rechargeable batteries can be fitted which will also trickle charge whilst connected to mains power.
Studio Flash - Connection - The TwinLink kit is designed to work straight out of the box with most popular flash systems, utilizing the included 3.5mm Jack lead and the 7.5mm Mono jack connector.
