Look what's new at Colour Confidence - SpyderTV, Confident Reseller Programme, Pantone ColorVANTAGE Inks, and Spyder2 Upgrade.
SpyderTV
When passing an electrical store you might look at a row of TV's; they will all appear different. Perhaps it's the blue of the sky, or the grass is a different shade of green, but two screens rarely look the same. The manual controls on your TV give you the capability to adjust the screen to your preference, however judging what is best by the naked eye is extremely difficult; this is where SpyderTV comes in.
SpyderTV measures contrast, brightness, colour, tint and colour temperature presets on your home cinema system enabling you to make the neccessary adjustments that will improve your picture quality. Attach the SpyderTV to the front of your TV screen, connect it to your computer, and it will guide you to correct the settings, making changes that would be impossible to judge with the human eye.

Confident Reseller Programme
Colour Confidence have unveiled their new channel scheme, the Confident Reseller Programme. Colour Confidence has been activley seeking to expand it's network of resellers and this new scheme will provide resellers with all the tools they need to successfully distribute the widest range of colour management solutions available. Pantone ColorVANTAGE Inks
Colour Confidence will now be offering Pantone ColorVANTAGE Inks. ColorVANTAGE Inks are an optimised set of pigmented inks, specially formulated, they feature a wide colour gamut, rich colours and superior lightfastness, all with a 20% cost saving in comparison to Epson original inks.
The formulation of ColorVANTAGE Inks gives them a deeper, more saturated colour without having to add black. This means brighter and more vibrant colours, and because they are pigmented they are not subject to colour shifts.
ColorVANTAGE Inks appear significantly different from Epson original inks ands offer a number of advantages in comparison.

Spyder2 Upgrade
Colour Confidence will be offering the free software upgrade to Spyder2PRO that enables digital projector calibration. This means that that Spyder2PRO Studio users no longer have to adjust their projectors subjectivley with the naked eye. As well as correcting brightness and contrast, the Spyder2 colorimeter has been combined with new software, allowing red, green and blue tonal values to be measured on the projection surface. These measurements are then stored as custom ICC profiles, and loaded to the video card as calibration corrections. As usual, a software wizard will guide the user through the entire calibration process. Spyder2PRO Studio, incorporating the calibration software 2.0, is available to new customers at a price of £189.95/74.95 ex. VAT. Pre-Orders are already being taken for the package, which includes an adapter for mounting the hardware ona tripod.
Current Spyder2PRO Studio users can download a free software update to Version 2.0 from www.colourconfidence.com. The tripod mount will also be available at the special price of £6.50/0.
