Following the announcement that the LEICA S2 is now shipping in the UK, leading photography magazine, Photography Monthly, has presented Leica with its 'Object of Lust Award' in the first ever Photography Monthly Test Zone Awards.
The LEICA S2 is a completely new professional camera system developed specifically for digital photography. The camera incorporates a 37.5 megapixel, 45 x 30mm CCD sensor, which is 56% larger than that of a 35mm full frame camera. This, coupled with a range of the highest quality Leica lenses, delivers truly stunning images time after time. Images require minimal digital correction, making it the perfect system on which today's busy professional photographer can depend to maximise their income.
