The SUN Awards 2005 exhibition is set to follow its successful dates in Manchester and Leeds with a three month residence at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The Newcastle exhibition opens on Saturday 4th March and runs until the end of May. The same core exhibition will be on show, but in a new departure for Sun Awards, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase framed prints from the exhibition. The SUN Awards exhibitors have reacted to popular demand by supplying 30 prints from the show which will be available for purchase. These prints, which are available in three sizes, will be offered on a strictly limited edition basis. Initially these prints will be available from The Biscuit Factory, and then direct from the SUN Awards website, www.shotupnorth.co.uk

The Biscuit Factory is Britain's biggest original art store with 35,000 square feet of exhibition space and studios. For further details on the venue, visit www.thebiscuitfactory.com

The SUN Awards is open to all northern based professional photographers who specialise in advertising, design, fashion and editorial. One of SUN's key objectives is to bring photographers closer to their clients and to the general public.

The call for entries for the 2006 SUN Awards will be announced shortly via email, so register your details on the SUN Awards website, www.shotupnorth.co.uk to keep up-to-date with this information. Entry forms will be available from the website, following the call for entries.
