WinZip Computing is extending the power of WinZipfile compression, encryption and email attachment optimization to new platforms with the development of products for the Macand mobile devices.
WinZip has announced the availability of the all-new WinZip Mac Editionas well as the upcoming release of its first WinZip mobile applications.
Extending WinZip's leadership in file compression, file encryption and file sharing, WinZip Mac Edition combines the best of WinZip - including drag-and-drop Zip and email functionality- with the simplicity and elegance expected on a Mac. WinZip Mac Edition features an entirely new interface design and gives users the tools to be more productive by enabling them to reduce file size, secure sensitive information, and send zipped email attachments instantly.
In addition to the availability of WinZip's new Mac zip utility, the company also announced all-new product offerings expected to debut in early 2011. WinZip is developing mobile applications for the iPhoneand iPadwith planned support for Androidto follow.

The English version of WinZip Mac Edition is available now as an electronic software download (EDS) at £25.95 in the United Kingdom from www.winzip.com/mac. It will be available in the next 30days from various channel partners worldwide with a suggested retail price (SRP) of £29.99 in the United Kingdom. All prices include VAT.
WinZip's mobile apps for the iPhone and iPad are expected to launch in early 2011.
