Kodak has reduced the price of its award-winning thermal Photo Printer 6850 by almost £300.
The printer, which can output photographic quality prints in seconds and is favoured by event photographers nationwide, will now have a list price of just £1,300 (ex VAT).
Said David Kitchin, Kodak Professional marketing manager: "The Photo Printer 6850 is the fastest printer in its class, outputting 6x8 inch prints in just fifteen seconds and 4x6 inch prints in eight seconds. The thermal printer market is extremely competitive and this decision to reduce list prices enables the outstanding, world-class features of this product to be supported by a highly compelling price point."
He added: "This new deal, which also includes reduced media prices, keeps us in pole position in the high end thermal printer marketplace. Photographers can find their nearest dealer from our website: www.kodak.com/go/professional".
The 6R printer kit which produces 375 6x8 inch prints has been reduced from £189.95 to £147 with a cost per print (at list) of just 0.39p. The 4R printer kit which produces 750 4x6 inch prints has also been reduced from £189.95 to £147.00 with a cost per print of just 19p.
