The Digital Imaging Manufacturers Association (DIMA) has presented Fujifilm with an 'Innovative Product Award' for the FinePix F30 Zoom.
Over seventy products were submitted for award consideration and the FinePix F30 Zoom is one of only two cameras to be honoured with this prestigious award, which recognises revolutionary new products and services.
The FinePix F30 Zoom sets a new benchmark for image quality in a digital compact, confirming that the digital camera tide is decisively turning away from megapixels. Finally kicking the "more pixels means better quality" argument into touch, the FinePix F30 Zoom is the world's first digital compact camera to deliver ISO 3200 sensitivity at full resolution, enabling users to produce top-quality images, even in the low-light conditions that cripple conventional digital cameras. Boasting a Sixth Generation Super CCD and Fujifilm's groundbreaking Real Photo Processor II technology, the FinePix F30 Zoom makes it easier than ever for users to experiment with photography in a range of lighting conditions and with moving subjects.
Adrian Clarke, Fujifilm's Director of Photo Products, said, "Winning this prestigious award is testament to Fujifilm's commitment to developing innovative digital technology. It's good news, not just for Fujifilm but also for the industry as a whole that DIMA has recognised the development efforts where it matters most - the sensor and image processing."
