The UK Passport service recently published its latest guidelines for passport photos. They urge consumers to seek high quality passport pictures to reduce the chance and inconvenience of passport office rejection. With the Sony passport camera, there is no danger of that. It produces exceptionally high quality images, printed in colour or black and white. And unlike typical digital cameras, the photo remains onscreen until another is taken, so customers can chose their preferred picture without the retailer having to repeatedly switch from camera mode to play mode.
Images can be transferred from camera to printer, using Bluetooth technology, so customers can be photographed anywhere in-store and printed instantaneously. The Sony camera and printer work independently of each other, eliminating the typical cumbersome cable connections and allowing up to three printers to be stacked on top of each other, all configured wirelessly. This also ensures a high operating efficiency as more than one set of photographs can be printed at a time. Printers are small and compact, measuring 203 x 85 x 305mm - saving essential space in a retail environment.
Printer paper is also available through Swains in 90 x 101mm and 101 x 152mm pack sizes to meet all passport / ID photo and mini portrait requirements. Photo quality prints are produced and offered in four preset frame sizes, or alternatively a customised frame can be produced.
