Retailers with Agfa Imagebox now can upgrade their legacy software with Lucidiom's APM 4.1 kiosk software.

Lucidiom Inc., developer of the APM photo kiosk, had been the OEM software supplier to Agfa before Agfa closed its doors this past year.Imagebox owners familiar with Agfa v6 (developed entirely by Lucidiom) will be right at home with the APM 4.1 software and will be able to immediately take advantage of the new power and money-making features without any learning curve.Lucidiom already has upgraded several hundred Imageboxes with new software, allowing retailers to manage all of their kiosks online from any location and handle every business need--from analyzing business operations to tracking sales trends to providing customer support.

"Our APM 4.1 software allows retailers to get the most functionality out of their photo kiosks and add new profit-making inventory for retailers during the critical holiday-selling season," said Lucidiom CTO Jason Pareti. "With APM 4.1, retailers can create photo gifts and merchandise; make package prints, passport photos and greeting cards; print multiple photos with easy one-touch ordering; add text and borders to photos, and support customers in multiple languages, among many other features."

The upgrade software comes with customer service support for one year. European retailers can contact Lucidiom's German-based sales representative, Henri van de Sand, for purchasing the upgrade. Van de Sand previously spent seven years with Agfa-Gevaert, holding various management functions in the lab equipment business, before joining Lucidiom in January. He can be reached at: +49 (0) 8106-3778980, henri@lucidiom.com.
