PMA 07 Spouse Programs feature the famous

The PMA 07 Spouse Luncheon programs begin with famous Hollywood actor Danny Glover, and then go "on the road" to famous shopping destinations and restaurants in Las Vegas.

(There's even a chance for attendees to cook with chefs trained by the legendary Wolfgang Puck.) The programs are set for Thursday, Mar. 8, Friday, Mar. 9, and Saturday, Mar. 10. Details of each session, including time, location, and price, are listed below.

Thursday, Mar. 8, 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.
The Role of the Arts in Community Activism: Danny Glover, Acclaimed Actor and Social Activist
From "Places in the Heart" and the "Lethal Weapon" series to the award-winning "To Sleep with Anger," (which he also executive produced), Danny Glover is one of Hollywood's most renowned and respected leading men. Off-screen, Glover is a powerful advocate for literacy and has spoken to grammar and high school students around the nation about the joys of reading and education.

Friday, Mar. 9, 10:00 a.m.
Fashion Show Mall Shopping Excursion and Lunch
Shop at one of the nation's largest shopping centers and Las Vegas' premier retail destination, Fashion Show Mall, which offers seven flagship department stores and more than 250 extraordinary shops and restaurants. Included is a $25 gift certificate to dine, when convenient, at Neiman Marcus Las Vegas Mariposa(r). Shuttle will depart the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall, main entrance at 10 a.m. Return at your leisure.

Saturday, Mar. 10, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Tuscan Cooking Class and Lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Trattoria del Lupo
The program takes place at Trattoria del Lupo, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Wolfgang Puck's first Italian restaurant, and features a "hands-on" Italian cooking experience with chefs trained by Wolfgang Puck. The cooking demonstration is followed by a three-course lunch affair. Advanced tickets: $79 member/$99 non-member (transportation not included).
