Colour Confidence, the independent colour management specialist, has announced the addition of the Eye-One iSis automated chart reader to its range.
The new addition is developed by X-Rite using award-winning Eye-One technology, the iSis has been dubbed 'the world's easiest chart reader'. With no buttons to press - simply load the chart and measurements start - it takes automation to new levels.
The Eye-One iSis is designed for colour professionals needing to measure multiple charts or create ICC profiles in large quantities. The system is available in both a standard model for A4 and an XL version for A3 charts. The standard iSis can read up to 1,500 patches for both no-filter and UV-cut measurements in just under four minutes, while the XL can read up to 2,500 patches from a single A3 page.
In addition to its 'load and go' operation, the iSis also boasts a revolutionary built-in vision system to automatically correct for chart misalignment, preventing media handling errors and misfeeds.
A barcode interpretation feature makes chart identification simpler, and the iSis also recognises chart size and type without conversing with your software. The system is compatible with all major high-end profiling software, including ProfileMaker 5 and Monaco Profiler.
