Graham Wainwright, who has spent 50 years working in the photo and broadcast industries, has left lighting manufacturer Photon Beard Limited, where he was MD for the past 15 years. Graham started working in the photographic trade in 1955 for Pelling & Cross, now Calumet, moving onto Hasselblad and then setting up Leeds Camera Centre in 1970, which was sold in 1987.
He has set up a new business, GW Digital & Photo Ltd, based in High Wycombe, Bucks., supplying a wide range of professional photo equipment, including fluorescent and tungsten lighting, flash, Manfrotto video and photo tripods, and Nikon, Hasselblad and Fujifilm equipment. The company specialises in sourcing equipment for special requirements and already supplies colleges, police forces and other organisations, as well as photographers.
GW Digital & Photo also provides studio planning and installation services, including moving track, lighting, cycloramas and background systems.
