With the takeover of AgfaPhoto's service and spare parts business plus the photochemistry business, the German a&o Group is treading new ground, because until now the company has been specializing mainly in IT services.
In order to quickly ensure the supply of spare parts and provide the required services for Agfa minilabs, a&o's Managing Director, Michael Mler, is putting his money on proven know-how: The manager of the two new subsidiary companies, a&o Imaging Solutions (photochemicals) and a&o Imaging Services (minilab spare parts and service), is Hans-Dieter Magon, who previously headed the corresponding after-sales segment at AgfaPhoto as Director Global Services.
