The new Leica 5MP DCC M3 is slightly larger than any of its predecessors - a 1/3 scale replica to allow for a full-colour 1.5" LCD on the back, SD-card compatibility and a rechargeable Lithium battery.

It has the digital equivalent of a 42mm f3 prime lens with the option of using the 4x digital zoom should you wish to get a little bit closer to your subject.

Minox's ethos once again comes to the forefront within this camera's design: high-precision miniaturization of top technology combined with a touch of extravagance. The technology and optical systems behind the nostalgic look combine to provide quality images. Easy to use controls have been discretely integrated in the body, and a 1.5 inch TFT colour monitor allows you to view the image you are taking should you wish an alternative to the optical viewfinder.

The new MINOX DCC Leica M3 is easy to use and is therefore suited to those starting digital photography, as well as those well used to digital photography. Based on its innovative, striking appearance, it's a real eye-catcher and guarantees photographic fun to people of all ages. In video mode it is possible to shoot short video clips in AVI format.
