Lucidiom unveils its new countertop photo kiosk, the APM 1100

Lucidiom Inc., creator of the original Automated Photo Machine (APM), recently unveiled its new countertop photo kiosk, the APM 1100 to help retail customers make high-quality digital prints quickly and easily.

Featuring a 17-inch touchscreen, this APM gives consumers a bigger view of their digital photos.Other benefits include an adjustable screen for viewing photos at any angle, an optional credit card/magnetic stripe reader so customers can pay for their photos right at the kiosk, and two USB ports for connecting directly to thumbdrives.

The APM 1100 supports a full range of digital media types: xDPicture Card, CompactFlashMicroDrive, Memory StickPro and Duo, SD/MMCMiniSD/RS-MMC, and SmartMediaIt also has a CD burner and DVD reader, runs on a Pentium 4, 3.0-GHZ processor with hyper-threading, and features 1 GB of hyper-threading RAM in order to process photo orders within two minutes on average.

The APM 1100 features Lucidiom's award-winning APM 3.0 software which allows retailers to change the look and feel of the ordering screen with the click of a button. Thus like all of Lucidiom's products, the APM 1100 can be branded to fit each store's style.

Lucidiom will be showcasing its APM 1100 within Flash Forward 3.0 at the 2006 International CES on Friday, January 6 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, as well as at CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of CES on Tuesday, January 3 at the Sands.
