Swains has succeeded in winning an exclusive UK distribution deal for Orion telescopes.
The Orion range of telescopes starts from as low as 59.99 retail and will include the latest GoTo planet-finding systems and other popular accessories.
Roy Sealey, sales director, says: "We'e delighted to have secured this agreement for the world's leading brand of home telescopes. As with all our products, we will be providing our high standard of service back-up on all Orion telescopes we supply, including the collection and replacement of any items found to have a manufacturing defect. Margins too will be kept as high as possible with competitive exit pricing showing a minimum of 30 per cent."
