Jessops gives first demos of the new EOS 40D

Jessops is offering a first opportunity to attend an official Canon demonstration of the eagerly-awaited new EOS 40D digital SLR.

On Saturday 29th September Jessops World Camera Centres, located in six of the UK's top cities, will each hold an exclusive Demonstration Day with experts from Canon putting the camera through its paces for customers.

The 40D builds on the success of the 20D and 30D models, offering a 10.1-megapixel CMOS imaging sensor, redesigned autofocus sensor and fast, 6.5 frames-per-second (fps) continuous shooting capability for bursts of up to 75 Large/Fine JPEGs or 17 RAW images.

It's billed as a must-have camera for amateur photographers and entry-level professionals.

Canon EOS 40D demo days will take place simultaneously in Jessops World Camera Centres in Birmingham,Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leicester, London and Manchester.
