Atech is now stocking Dickson's EverGreen media. The EverGreen range features a host of benefits that have a direct effect towards supporting the worldwide environmental campaign to reduce waste, emissions and energy.
The range of planet-friendly products are free from PVC, Pthalates, Phosphates, Formaldehyde, Glycol-ether (volatile carcinogenic and reprotoxic fabrics used in many conventional medias). They do not create any VOC during production and use 80% less electricity than traditional PVC banner medias, thus reducing the greenhouse effect and energy costs.
The media is packed simply, in 100% recyclable cardboard, and because the fabrics are lightweight compared to their equivalent PVC per sq metre, this means they require less fuel for travel. EverGreen Fabrics can be destroyed by local specialised companies and by doing this, you limit the circulation of trucks, responsible for 17% of greenhouse gas emissions in the world and responsible for climate warming. Decomposition and destruction also has an impact on transportation and by treating the product regionally you can limit further transport runs and in decomposition the EverGreen range create only half the leachate pollution compared with normal PVC banner.
