Swains International were delighted to formally present Jim McGuckin of Kodak and John Armit of Pentax with commemorative watercolour paintings at their trade show this year to recognise their long-standing ties with Swains.

Chris Swain, Chairman of Swains International presented to Jim McGuckin of Kodak. John Armit of Swains receiving his painting from Alan Comer, Managing Director of Swains International. The presentation took place at the Swains trade show, earlier this year in October. The paintings, which were commissioned by Swains with well-known Norfolk based watercolour artist Jeremy Barlow, feature the first ever Swains shop which was opened by founder Percy Swain and his sons Arthur and Ernest in Hunstanton in 1936.

Danny Williams, marketing director at Swains, comments: "We were delighted to present these very special paintings to two such important people. Jim McGuckin from Kodak has worked with Swains for the past 10 years, and will be sorely missed when he leaves Kodak, after 28 years, at the end of March next year. The trade show in October was also a very special day for John Armit, national sales manager marking his last official Swains event before leaving Pentax.

"The paintings were presented to Jim and John to thank them for their loyal support and commitment to Swains over the years and we hope the gifts will serve as a lasting memory of their time with us. Everyone at Swains will sorely miss them both but we would like to take the opportunity to wish them luck in the future."
