Imaging Solutions acquired assets of the Wholesale Division of the insolvent AgfaPhoto GmbH effective beginning with December 1, 2005. Imaging Solutions will continue to operate from its Swiss headquarters in Regensdorf near Zurich. Sales of all products will be made from this location. All Imaging Solutions' departments - Management, Sales, Services, Administration, Production as well as the heart of the company, Research and Development - are located there.
Imaging Solutions' business philosophy will continue to concentrate on producing state-of-the-art systems and software in known Swiss quality and exclude any risky experiments. Customer orientation, quality and continuity remain the primary focus. Stable growth is planned and indeed expected.
Development and innovation for the high quality product range (fastPrint, reScan, fastScan, fastEntry and netGate) will be continued. The paper processor VSP will be added to the product line.
An important aspect of Research and Development will be the new system world PURUS with its components webGate, pageCreate, workControl and fastFinish for the production of lucrative value-added photo products in purePhotoTM quality such as photo post cards, photo greeting cards, photo books and photo calendars.
